Who am I

I worked in IT technical support for the past fifteen years and have over five years customer service experience. I am passionate about tech, I like to keep abreast with the latest happenings in the telecommunications industry. I have worked in different industries such as Gaming, Public Utilities and Telecommunications. I have always been the go to guy for opinions and suggestions regarding tech among my friends and family. I love doing research on the internet, I love the internet, and I feel blogging is an excellent way to help my readers navigate the wealth of tech information that is out there.

Working with a major telecommunications provider in the last 2 years makes me realize that customers were getting dissatisfied with their cable TV service. Their favorite channels were disappearing from their current package, their bill kept getting higher every year, customers weren’t able to afford their bills after their introductory pricing expires and also cable companies would move popular channel to higher prices packages…most of the times, customers would complain that they don’t watch most of the channels in their current packages.

Over the last three years cable customers have been dwindling. Cable customers have been giving up their cable and satellite service, hence the term “Cutting the cord”. Millennials especially, finds cable service too expensive. Over the last five years, there have been a plethora of steaming services. A lot of cable companies also owns streaming services. The problems people have is what equipment do one need to have take advantage of these streaming services, and what advantage and disadvantages of some of these equipment. I frequently get these questions from my friends and family and this is what i will be helping my readers with.

The goal of this site is to guide my viewer to the  performance of  options that is available in the streaming service environment ,  and to help them choose the right equipment that will meet their needs.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,
